a 23-inch monitor without an HDMI for console gaming is just not a good recommendation at all, just my honest opinion. I have no doubt the LG is a good monitor, though for console gaming, a 27-inch would be better.

I just recently used this monitor for about two weeks, it's not a "glossy" it's a low Haze on top of a very coarse AG filter, really kind of bothersome to a degree, think Dell U2711.

The IPS screen on last year's Vizio 32-inch B1 model was incredible, deep blacks and zero backlight bleed, with a nice glass like surface. The 2015 model is nowhere near as nice.
