Same thing, either way, regardless of shutdown method I get a long wait on DETECTING IDE DRIVES and a disk boot failure. But this is only happening every second time the computer boots.
I think it may be a bios setting of some sort.
I'm on a DFI DK 790FX M2RS right now with a 955BE and every SECOND time I start my computer, I hang at "Detecting IDE Drives" for a minute or two and after it finishes detecting the drives, I am faced with DISK BOOT FAILURE PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
This is only happening...
