    Shared memory?

Thanks for the replies, but it looks like I am talking out of my backside. It has been a while since I last looked at this and in the mean time it has solved itself. Don't know whether it was Bios updates or Windows 7 update, but I think that 1GB is being used by programs. I only have a couple...

    Shared memory?

x64 and Core i7. Am not sure I have explained myself very well. The most simple explaination is that my available memory is about 1Gb different on boot, depending on whether I have 1 or both of my Nvidia cards installed.

    Shared memory?

What's up with having to reserve system memory to use with system devices. I have a 1Gb video card so about 1 Gb of my system memory is taken by the OS to shadow my video card's memory. With additional PCIe devices I think it is higher (raid controllers etc). I.E Win7 shows 6144 installed, but...

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

Does not matter which angle I hold the mouse at the movement is 90 degrees the motion of the cursor on the screen. To confirm this only happens when moving the mouse repeatedly, at very high speed, close to the limit of the sensor speed, not something you would do during normal use or...

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

Posted this on the Logitech forum, but did not get much response, maybe here will be better... ----------------------------------------------- Not sure this is really much of a major problem, but have noticed that when moving the mouse at very high speed the mouse tracks a little bit at 90...

PC games lacking native Anti-Aliasing (AA) support

Sorry misspoke, BFBC2 is also only 5.1. I forgot. Damn consoles.... Normally vsync is not a big issue for me, as if the game does not support it, it can always be forced through the driver. Have not come across a game that cannot have vsync forced on it. Cannot say the same for AA. Triple...

PC games lacking native Anti-Aliasing (AA) support

Actually, after playing some old games recently, but not that old, Bioshock, Oblivion. Another thing that is now also starting to disappear, is 7.1 sound output from games. Because consoles only have 5.1, that is how much recent PC games get as well. A real step backwards. At least their are...

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

Have finally placed an order with someone in the UK who is not price gouging. Have got the mouse for £75 delivered. So am just waiting for it to turn up so I can join the owners club. First Logitech device I have seen where the price on Logitech's own website is cheaper than others can supply...

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

For those not happy with the battery life. Logitech have admitted that the LED's on the side are a guide to the amount of charge in the battery and not gospel. The real life of the battery is from full until the mouse no longer works. See how long that is. Some people have found that it shows...

Game list updated. Are there any that I have missed or that anyone can see is incorrect?

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

Can't even get these in the UK yet, everyone is price gouging with pre-order pricing and you guys are already getting 25% off offers. Man.... Wait just checked that's $75, whereas in the UK to pre-order the cheapest price is $132 (£85). Sometimes I really hate my US cousins....

Anyone have much info about the logitech g700 mice?

Would love to get this mouse, but Logitech have really priced themselves out. In the UK it looks to be sold for around £85 - £89. Some retailers are selling the G500 for £29 now. Same sensor and simlar shape for a 3rd of the price! The wireless and two extra useable buttons is just not worth the...

PC games lacking native Anti-Aliasing (AA) support

I am in no way with this tread saying 'Don't buy games that don't have AA'. I thought a definitive list might be good, so people are aware before buying a game what they are getting without having to trawl lots of forums. Don't know what to say. I play at 1920 x 1200 and the jags are always...

PC games lacking native Anti-Aliasing (AA) support

There has been a worrying trend over the past few years. The PC is now treated as a second class gaming system, I.E games are first developed for consoles and then 'ported' to the PC. Due to this a few features that were standard for PC games, are now commonly AWOL. To me the most important of...
