Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
That sums up what I think of companies like OCZ. People say the more competition, the better, but not when the market is overflooded with crap products.
Never owned an OCZ product. Probably because they at least used to a be company that just took some other companies product and slapped their sticker on it.
Went and bought a Roccat Kone XTD today. Will take some time to get the feel and all options.
Had to download drivers from Roccat, unplug and replug the mouse to get it working though.
Lenovo is good but they could use better quality plastic (maybe they do now?). I have changed the casing once and the second already have a small crack at the palmrest.
That's awesome indeed. I tried the first Intellimouse Explorer that came out in -99, but it couldn't handle very fast movements so went with the legendary Mouseman Wheel. :D
I'm reading this thread and starting to remember all mice I have been through... :)
1. Logitech Mouseman Wheel
2. Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical
3. Logitech MX510
4. Logitech MX518
The MX518 still works, but now I want to replace it, but not sure what to get...
I'm considering it. Hoping battery life will be good, and I will go with Retina display. I currently use a Thinkpad T410i that is over 3 years old (but it still works fine).
Got my replacement memory slot clips in the mail today! :D
That was quick. I have to say Gigabyte support seems to be very good, the person I conversated with was nice and even asked how the damage happened.
Now the tricky part will be to get out the rest of the broken clips from the memory...
I finally built my new Haswell based computer today, based on a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC.
When I installed the memory, I flipped the slot clips back and inserted the modules. But didn't hear the usual click that confirms it's fastened. Thought it was a bit strange. When I went back to reseat the...
I also went with Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC. I have used Abit and Asus before and this will be my first experience with Gigabyte.
I'm not an overclocker since I value absolute stability but will probably test overclocking a while on this new system just for the fun. :D
I have bought the 650W version. Still waiting for it to arrive though. It's said to be made by FSP, which was one of the reasons for my choice (I was scared away from Seasonic after all stories about coil whine).
Always used Corsair apart from an old P4 build that used Rambus memory from Samsung if I remember correctly.
Edit: That is for desktop, my Lenovo laptop have Micron memory I think.
