New Asus 770 Direct CU2 problems

Swapped the card this morning for an EVGA GTX 770 SC and all is right in the world. New card booted up without any problems. So confirmed the Asus was a dud. Thanks everyone for the quick help and advice!

New Asus 770 Direct CU2 problems

Yep card is seated properly, everything is double checked and snug. I'm 99% sure the card is bad, requirements are 600w and I tested with both 850 and 1050w PSU. No OS at all yet since this is a new build but it will run Windows7 X64.

I tried a combo, I used the 2 standard 8/6 pin PCIe connectors on the PSU, I also tried the modular cables, and tried using the asus dual 6 pin to 8 pin converter plus an additional cable for the 6 pin but no luck.
