yes i have it working at 630/1620.... anyone that has 7600gt tried it?

7950gt will do 1680*1050 high on fear but the 7600gt wont, it would be fine up to 1152*864 or 1280*960 but 1680*1050 would just kill it..., if you can get the money I would buy a 8800gts, its one badass piece of card...

:rolleyes: nop, it probably wont do that much of a drop in performance, not even a 8800gtx is able tu use the full bandwidth of a 16x lane, maybe it could mean a 5-10% drop in worst case, whats your psu??

mine does 1280*1024 2x trss AA with everything high fine, averaging 49 fps never going under 25

7600gt can do 16*12 with 4xaa and 16af in wow if you have at least 1gb of ram and a decent processor

then my 7600gt is for 320*240.....

I was looking for some oc results with windsor and orleans and i culd find very much, maybe the databse cold be updated to add this cores..

differeence between them wont be that great (performance-wise), i'd go with any evga (better brand) from that bunch, they all oc about the same, because they are all nvidia reference design based (im not sure on that one, maybe evga has a slightly larger cooler)

wait a bit then and get G80, then you could give her the 7800gt

replacing the 7800gt by a single 7900gs will mean almost no gain since they are basically the same but the 7900gs is slightly faster and with a more overclockable core, better wait til the g80 refresh

i play with my 7600gt that is slightly better at 1280*960 with 2x MSAA and 8x AF you should be fine at 1280*960 or 1152*864 thats not bad either

x2 it would be great, some little overclock would make it even better

see temps on the bios, speedfan must be wrong because your pc would have self destructed with that temps
