Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
1900x1200 16:10, shrug. I'm looking into H67 boards but know very little about current builds as this is my first since my current rig which is an x48 775...
Im confused...
So if I have a 2500K on this board and do a small OC to 3.7-4.0GHz it will not throttle unless I am artificially loading it with something like Prime95?
So the Thermalright AXP-140-RT is the only HS I can find that will fit under 90mm (required for my case). It fits on the mobo but I'm wondering if it is unrealistic to expect this thing to properly cool a i5 2500K passively as I cannot fit a fan on it.
For what it's worth this is my case...
That's the smallest height I have seen yet and has a really good mounting system for fans as opposed to those clips I love to hate.
Edit:
Reviews seem to state it's a pretty horrible CPU cooler. I'll pass for now.
Trying to figure out what kind of CPU cooling I can fit on this thing. Unfortunately I'm limited to 90 MM of height and all the low profile coolers I can find seem to be too wide - hitting the GPU/RAM.
General question here. In your experience is it a poor choice to buy outside of the "tested" RAM list for your mobo?
I need a RAM kit under a certian size, I found one but it isn't on the list provided by my mobo company as supported.
Thank you!
