Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yeah, I have seen those. The problem is that they just show up on your computer as one massively wide monitor and then split that into the 3, just like the one I linked above. DisplayPort allows for up to 4 discrete monitors to be daisy chained, but you can only do this with $1,000 monitors...
Well, flip... it looks like that just extends the resolution... I'm probably going to be stuck with USB to DVI/HDMI adapters. They'll work fine, anyway. I'll probably only have Storetel and Nagios on two of the monitors 99% of the time, anyway. The rest will have email, Chrome, and a session...
Thanks for the reply. I hadn't seen that yet.
I believe two of these should do the trick, though, when combined with the Dell dock that has two DisplayPort adapters on it: http://i.dell.com/images/global/products/monitors/mmh11.pdf
Should be able to push 6 monitors off of the discrete GPU no...
Hi all,
When I press the power switch on my computer, the fans that are on molex connectors turn on, the harddrives spin up, but nothing else happens. It also will not respond to the No lights, no fans connected to the mobo fire up, not a thing. I thought this was a power thing to begin with...
Also, I think its worth noting that I won't be gaming on these or anything. :) Just saying. I'd love to be able to watch YouTube videos in HD, but high performance is not an absolute necessity. However, if it can be done for not too much money (I probably don't need to go over $2,000, maybe...
Hi all,
I am beginning to plan out my next laptop for work. I need to plan on being able to run 6 monitors, and I'd prefer to have something with a dock. I won't be buying until the beginning of next year, but I'd like to start planning now and was wondering what ideas you guys have. I...
Thanks for the reply and the offer. I've actually decided to go with the Azza 910. :) My brother is wanting a new computer, so he is buying my Three Hundred and I'm buying the Azza. They're very close in look and dimensions, so I think it will make sense and not cost too much.
Just for...
Good point... none on eBay at the moment... the Azza 910 seems like a potential option, too. Hmmm... tough decision. I really like the Azza as it is a fairly clean case. I'm not fond of the 900. It looks like its trying too hard. :)
Thanks for the suggestion!
Brandon
Thanks for the reply.
The only thing about the 900 is that A) its a little bit ugly. Especially considering I already have a 300 that would be sitting next to it and B) that would add $50 more to my overall cost.
I still may consider it. I'd rather have two matching 300s I'm pretty sure...
Hi all,
I have two Three Hundreds at home. One is for my server, the other is my desktop. I have begun the process of digitizing my movies. I also have general storage and backup space on my server. I'm running ESXi with IOMMU to passthrough an IBM m1015 to a Server2008R2 VM (TechNet...
You're going to have a hard time finding two sets of floorstanders for $300, let alone with anything else.
For $300, you'll probably have to use stands or wall mount.
Also, any tall speakers can be used for however you want to... its just a matter of connecting to correct output of the...
Hi all,
I have a Visiontek Radeon 4350 I'm trying to use directly connected to my Panasonic plasma (can't remember the model... cheaper 720p). I am looking to just get stereo out to the TV. No bitstreaming or surround sound or anything.
Anyone have any ideas why this would be showing...
An IBM M1015 passed through is hard to beat! They used to be around $65 or so on eBay a few months ago, but demand has picked up lately... they're now around $100, which still isn't bad.

Hi all,
I am wanting to replace my current Celeron 530 ESXi setup with something with VT-d/IOMMU. It seems as though IOMMU is the way to go as far as the price goes. I am thinking about doing a virtual HTPC. Does anyone know of any IOMMU motherboards that have been proven to passthrough...
