    i'm not sure how but just go look at reviews. And even if the 295 is slightly better, its north worth paying over $200 for it then dual gtx 260's And yes, I have owned a 295 before..

    No. you don't have to keep them linked. Most people always have them unlinked so they can adjust the shader clock to their liking :)

    Go all the way with SLI 285 or 280 or dont upgrade. GTX 295 is not worth the money. Even 2 260 216's beat it.

    Some boards need lots of voltage to get pass a OC wall Try giving it 1.4~1.46 voltage. Don't worry as long as the temps dont go past 83c load you will be fine You are on water so you shouldn't worry about that

    Bump. Can someone try and help me get past 4.0ghz? 4.0ghz is rock solid but i can't get past it Settings are 1.306 voltage 20x200 1.46 vtt 1.140 ioh 1.6 ddr x6 ram multi x36 qpi x13 uncore Even with 1.4+ voltage I can't seem to post :(

    4870 x2 vs 2 gtx 260 Sli/285 ?

    Not really. A 4870x2 gets higher points in 3dmark06 then a GTX 295, yet the 295 gets better fps in games.
