Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks everyone. I agree that it is not worth sacraficing quality for the sake of looks and that is what brought me here. I gave some thought to the PowerMac G5 and wanted to see if there was anything that would save me all the work, but its looking like no for the time being. I was a huge...
I am looking for a case for my friend. He wants something that looks like a mac pro tower. Tried searching Google, but nothing I found seemed of good quality so I figured I would try asking here. Thanks.
Well you may want to be careful with that much on one lead. I guess the only thing that can go wrong with what you are connecting is your drives may drop out or not be happy due to lack of current. Please post back and let us know how it goes.
I'm going to have to say if you have the money why not buy a new power supply? A good 750 would last you through just about any upgrade you could want to do to your system and depending on how old your power supply is you may end up saving money on energy anyways. Just a thought. If you are...
CPU Fan OPT is whatever fan on your CPU that is acting as the second fan. Would be labeled on every motherboard I have ever used right next to the connection. It is labeled OPT or Optional as it is only needed if you need the extra cooling.
I have seen it done before. I run a Noctua NH-D14 and it fits. It comes with the brackets for mounting a radiator but the case really was designed with air cooling in mind. If I was building a liquid cooled system I would probably sick with mountain mods (link: http://www.mountainmods.com/)...
I have the P9X79 Pro by Asus and it is solid. No issues at all, and really I did not need anymore. And for what it is worth I have memory in all 8 slots and have no compatibility issues even tho my ram is not on the most recent support list. I picked up 4 sets of Samsung MV-3V2G3D/US...
I guess I see a use for that if you have 4 690's and a case that can only hold one power supply. That is a serious power supply. Wonder how much it weighs.
I have a FT02 and am in love. I really can't think of a single thing that I don't like about it. Optical drive fit in the top slot can be tricky. The drive in my sig fits fine. I will try and put up a pic or two when I get home to show you what I am referring to.
I guess the real question is how much are you trying to spend? If money is not a issue than I would upgrade to the 680. It will run anything on a single monitor you would ever throw at it, and it will be much more energy efficient and keep your case temps down. If you are thinking on a budget...
So I take it that in nVidia driver control panel you have all your sound outputs turned off? I use a external sound processor, because I run a personal sound studio with my computer, so I went in before gaming and made sure all outputs were turned off to insure no compatibility issues. I...
Is there anyone else using this card right now? Have not seen any reviews yet of it online, only product introductions. I picked one up and I must say it is a beast! I play a lot of Battlefield 3 and jumped on the 4GB card after having stability problems with the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 SC...
I have the Seasonic Platinum 860 and it is a killer power supply. I chose the 860 because I know with the load I will be applying I should be in its peak efficiency. Got enough juice behind it to run two 680's. I am curious to see what people are pushing with the 1000 watt version. I agree...
