    DDR4 timings matter for Z170?

    I'd say get the faster ram and try to tighten timings. It seemed to work for me. I wasn't able to get huge improvements but every little bit helps. Depending on your use of course.

    I recently received a motherboard from a person and it was shipped in an anti static bag inside if a box. With a piece of paper as padding. I wish that person would of taken notes from Amazon. I have never had anything arrive damaged from then.

    Thanks for the input. I've never backed up my hard drives before (i know, I know, flame me if you must) and recently had a problem where I had to reinstall. Figured raiding would be the easiest way to recover if a drive went bad. I've wanted to go nvme but am still hesitant due to price.

    I've been using the mobile version. They just never seem as elegant to me. What would be required to either get tapatalk support or the forums own app? If it required paying someone to name the app I'd be willing to donate. Maybe post a pool and see what the community thinks?

    I can get mine to 5.1 @ 1.50. Not stable for actual use but I can run gpupi and hwbot a few times before it crashes out on me. So defiantly not stable. I've learned anything above 4.8 requires a large bump in voltage.
