Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'd say get the faster ram and try to tighten timings. It seemed to work for me. I wasn't able to get huge improvements but every little bit helps. Depending on your use of course.
I wonder how it stacks up vs the Cryorig R1 Ultimate. I have it on a bench and it's definitely a beast for an air cooler. It can almost give my Kraken a run for its money.
Basically I want to lock down my network from intruders. Run most of my activity through a vpn. Have a reverse proxy installed for other programs that access the internet. Be able to access my computers and nas from outside my network with ddns.
Ok so when the voltage meter maxes out then that's the max it'll go correct? Will it throttle then? I know I can increase the mili volts to get a little more out of it. Also how can I tell when my memory is maxed out? I've read that you should look for artifacts like a solid color circle for...
So as the title states I'm looking to overclock my 980 ti's. Both are from EVGA. One had an asic of 75 or 78 and the other is mid to high 60's. I've never OCed a graphics card before. Should I start with the memory or clock speed? I'm on standard dual fan site cooling. I've had the video driver...
I recently received a motherboard from a person and it was shipped in an anti static bag inside if a box. With a piece of paper as padding. I wish that person would of taken notes from Amazon. I have never had anything arrive damaged from then.
Thanks for the input. I've never backed up my hard drives before (i know, I know, flame me if you must) and recently had a problem where I had to reinstall. Figured raiding would be the easiest way to recover if a drive went bad. I've wanted to go nvme but am still hesitant due to price.
Spend the money and get the Netgear R7000. I had one before I upgraded to the R8000. Never had a single problem. Sold it to a co-worker and it's still trucking along. You can find it on Amazon for around $180 or certified refurbished for $140. Grab a square trade warranty if your really worried...
I recently setup pfsense I a Lenovo TS140. Right now it's just stock configuration. I haven't added any packages. I'm also using my Nighthawk x6 as my wireless access point for the tablets and phones. Everything else in the house is hardwired. Does anyone have any recommendations on settings...
I've been using the mobile version. They just never seem as elegant to me. What would be required to either get tapatalk support or the forums own app? If it required paying someone to name the app I'd be willing to donate. Maybe post a pool and see what the community thinks?
I can get mine to 5.1 @ 1.50. Not stable for actual use but I can run gpupi and hwbot a few times before it crashes out on me. So defiantly not stable. I've learned anything above 4.8 requires a large bump in voltage.
I searched for an individual so for the forum and searched on tapatalk. Came up short on both. I'm hoping I'm just extra blind and missed it. If neither exist is there a plan to implement either?
I already have one Samsung 512 pro. I'd like to raid them but I want to make it as fast ad and have a failsafe. What is the best way to do? Raid 0+1, raid five our??? What is the minimum amount of drives I'd need to accomplish your?
Thanks in advanced for info that is provided.
