I'm going to buy 2x1024 800MHz kit in about a week. Help needed to make a choise between Corsair XMS2 800MHz (not PRO) 5-5-5-12 and Patriot PDC22G6400LLK 800MHz 4-4-4-12. Buying for C2D system on E6600 and Asus P5B Deluxe. I couldn't find any info on that Patriot mem, so I need your advice =)
of course i won't do that again, i'm not that stupid! :) first time i thought it was mobo issue, so i tryed the same with different one... no more 3 volts!
well, i know a guy who has soundcard, ethernet card, and tv tuner in his PC... and 1 PCI-2-USB card... and sometimes i use third PCI slot (i only have 3 of them) to install SCSI card, cause i've got SCSI hdd's in my old PC...
each time i try to OC my mem and set mem voltage to 3.0 volts, then boot and benchmark i get a BSOD and one of my devices dead... first time it was mobo, Epox 9NPA+ Ultra, and just a few days ago the i killed my 6800GT in the same way.
why could that be? is it my PSU or what?
first time i...
nice mobo, i love it 8)
i want to install 2GB ram on this mobo, which better - 2x1GB or 4*512? i heard that's not good to fill all memory slots.
p.s.: is everything ok with 2GB overclocking?
