    Ya you have it kinda easy. I'm 'toughing it out' with a 660 on the same 1440p 144hz type monitor. 660 actually handeled my old 1200p res 60hz fine on high (but not max) settings. But now with the new monitor... lets just say pascal cant come out soon enough :D

    Yes sorry. For those wondering (I edited it out) at first I was having trouble getting 144 refresh and could only get 120 but a driver update and/or system reset fixed the issue. Perfect panel besides the one unnoticeable dead pixel in upper right

    Just got a refurb one of these. Acer is selling these on their refurb website (temporarily sold out but should be back) and also on ebay for ~500. Mine is basically perfect. 1 dead pixel in upper right corner and no back light bleed.

    The 2016 product lineups they show off usually launch shortly after. For example acer revealed its XB270HU (27" ips gsync) at CES and it was available 2 months later in march. I would say wait 3 weeks for CES and read up on all the monitor news. You can then tell if there is something good...

    Guess i need to upgrade my monitor and/or eyes :cool::D. These 271s really do look top notch. I'm just holding out until CES to see if the pool of gsync IPS increases. Hopefully with more gsync competition the 'gsync tax' will lessen.
