    Ohh yes I wasn't planning on running the game at 1080p, I just used it as a simple example since the ratio between 1080p and 4K is a cute 1:2. I'd try to aim for a consistent 60fps.

    I'm asking because I've just ordered a 4K monitor for my new GTX 2080 Super. But in 4K even a 2080 TI can't average a consistent 60fps in a game like Metro Exodus. So I'm thinking about lowering and upscaling the resolution.

    If I have two identical monitors (size, aspect ratio,...) but one has a higher resolution (say 1920x1080 and 3840x2160). Is there a difference in quality when running a game at 1080p on both? (One with native 1080p, and the other with stretched 1080p) Would the 4K monitor have worse visuals...
