    I agree with this. Ive been using the Win8 preview/consumer releases for a while now. I rarely used the start screen in windows 7 and I rarely use it in windows 8. Most of the things I need are pinned to the start bar and I usually just sleep my computers and end up never seeing the start...

    even if you cant avoid sony parts in all products you can still put a dent in their bottom line by not buying their products you know are sony. How much money has the company made off the PS3? if it werent popular thats millions in revenue they wouldnt be making.

    yea absolutely. I have an iphone too, I know what kinda touch experience apple is bringing to the table. I think windows does a great job of incorporating touch into the system. I dont really like apple products and its annoys the hell out of me to have to use itunes to sync my phone, but...

    agreed. I hated the new windows 7 look on my desktop. So i changed it to mimick the old windows. But with a touchscreen the new win7 style is just awesome. I had very little trouble clicking small links and buttons...until i got a screen protector at least, but thats not windows fault.

    The mass appeal of mac stuff is that its made for people who dont know what their doing. This is done by closing off the platform. So you give up certain things, like flash, but for most people its fine. For most people a computer from 2004 would be good enough.
