Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
ALright, thanks guys. Was just hearing this stuff about higher Amp requirements of the 600 series and I have been out of the loop for a while so though it would be to ask first :D
Hi all, building a new Mini-ITX system here and have this older Corsair TX750 v1 still sitting here. the PSU works just fine, and has no issues. What I am asking is if it's still good enough to power the following:
i5 3570K
Asus P8Z77-I
EVGA GTX 660Ti 3GB
Primary I want to know about the...
I am joining you guys soon. I just picked up the ASUS P8Z77-I. I have the 3570 and 16GB of RAM already. Looking at the Bitfenix Prodigy and other stuff.
BTW, I'm still a Noob after 3 years :-P
Sticking with E8400 at 4.2Ghz until Sandy Bridge. Even with only using one of my 260s I have no issues running any game that I play regularly. I see no reason to spend all of that money to upgrade to something that will be outdated within the next year.
My workstation is still rocking the Q9650...
^^^ hey dude links broken.
I'm browsing as I have yet not decided whether to upgrade to X58 or P55. I really want to see how much of a drain Fermi really will be on bandwidth beforehand.
Has anyone tried the new 32nm Dual-cores in this board as of yet? I'm thinking it would work as they seem t work in the rest of the P55 boards do far.
Just looking to build a cost effective Lan box with an insanely overclocked dual-core and something from the new Fermi card's when they are...
I use a 32GB PATA SSD in my G4 iBook. I run Debian on it and use it primarily for porting packages to ARM. Works great for me, and the total cost was just over 250 with the RAM upgrade and the SSD. Cheaper, easier, and still faster than a netbook that could be comparable.
Like it was stated the reason for the insanely high prices is mainly due to Intel's less than honest business practice's. They don't make much money off of the Atom platform so they set a a price barrier. They did this in a deal they made with Microsoft in order to bracketize the market.
What...
How can you sift through the green hate Charlie spews when that's all he ever does is spew forth green hate. There's a reason no one will touch the guy. He's damaged goods in his writing and in his head. Everything he writes sounds like he has insider information like a typical Internet Fanboy...
I'm new here, but have done a lot of dev work with ARM based chips.
It really depends on which Snapdragon chip you are referring to as Snapdragon is a brand name and not an exclusively locked chip arch. The current Snapdragons that clock over 600Mhz are definitively based on Cortex A8 cores...
