I only have 3 slots in my mobo and I tried switching them and that didn't help. I have finally been able to log some time on BF2 with this setup with no restarts. All I did was switch cas las from 2 to 2.5. I'll try Tweeking it later. Right now I'm glad to have 2 gigs in dual channel...
Well I played BF2 for like 2 hrs straight with both sticks of 3500LLPro in and they are in dual channel mode and stuff seems fine. I put the CL @ 2.5 and voltage is @ 2.7V left the rest alone. I guess that command rate off bios will have to be the next step if this doesn't continue to pan out. :(
Is it possible that my asus board doesn't give me the option to switch comand rate to 2T nor CPC ON/OFF?
I switched Syst performance to used defined and mem freq to used def and I get the choice of switching active precharge delay, RAS to CAS delay, RAS precharge delay, and CAS Latency which...
I'll try that tommorow. Maybe this info might help: I can run 1 of the sticks of 3500 and push it playin BF2 and I don't get any restarts (haven't tried swapping sticks and trying it).I tried running both sticks @ 2.8 and that didn't help so I have the 1 stick @ 2.7 now. Think I did try 2.5...
No I must admit Oldbenwa that is the One thing I haven't tried. My updating to the 1013 bios was my 1st flash so I'm a lil hesitant to try something of that sort. I don't even know what CPC on/off is to be honest or how it would help my situation. Can you try to explain what the difference is...
Still having problems. I switched back to my old mismatched pc2100 in single channel and played BF2 for hours between last night and this morning then I pulled the old ones out and put in the new 3500s in the other "Recommended Memory Configuration" (A2 & B1) and started BF2 and played for a...
For kicks I memtested both sticks today again. 11hrs and 11 passes later I get ZERO errors. The ONLY thing different is that the 2 sticks got switched around after I tested them individually. The mobo manual does show another way to have them but I will leave them alone and try to...
They are @ 2.6V right now whicj=h is pretty low. One of the first things I tried to do was put em at 2.7V w/ no help.
Going to test em individually now.
These are at stock speeds. Well slower. PC3200
memtested for 2.5 hours tonight with Both Sticks with No Errors after I flashed to the latest bios. I didn't mem test the sticks individually, ran out of time. After the 2.5 hours I noticed that memtest was showing my CPU @ 1838 MHZ w/ a FSB...
Yes they're in dual channel. I thought about doing the individual test on each stick. I will do that tonight. It didn't look like the bios update for my board did anything useful so I never updated.
just recieved some XMS 3500LLPRO for the system in my sig. Seemed to work the first night of use but I didn't stress it to much. After I started pushing it (BF2 single and multiplayer) I got sudden restarts. At one point I got a long blue screen message with a long STOP #. Running the...
Read somewhere on this forum that the Corsair C2 Pro I'm looking at is the exact same Ram as Corsairs c2 and c2 platinum, the Only difference is the heatspreader. If that is the case then I'm thinking I might be steered towards the Crucial Ballistix here . They are the same price and seem to...
