Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
played Battlefield3, 1440p@120hz. Lowest settings (for less input lag) + HBAO.
single GPU feels more smooth. CFX isn't 'jerky', but when turning side to side quickly, it feels like picture 'breaks' slightly compared to single card, hence feels like its less smooth. No microstutter.
Maybe we should :D
Thank you for your insight, however I truly have one DVI (DLDVI) out per card, which also includes 2x DP and 1x HDMI(miniHDMI..?). Yes, I can run eyefinity 3 off thru one card with CFX, however that would require badass DP to DVI adapter x 2. :($200)
The Resolution of 3...
I have reference CF 7970.
How would I go about connecting 3 such displays? I believe each one of my cards has only one DVDVI output. (will check)
Is Eyefinity possible? I somewhere read that Eyefinity has to run off one card.
With the nearing release of the so-called prototype driver specifically to address crossfire microstutter, I believe it is time to ressurrect this thread, and perhaps make another thread. Microstutter is a very important topic and so far Camp Red been less impressive than their Green...
I HIGHLY recommend.
you need to do some reading to figure out how to achieve 120hz (simple, really) 96hz is guaranteed, but I had zero issues hitting 120hz. What do I have now? I have a IPS panel at 2560x1440 running 120hz. Battlefield never looked better. I HIGHLY recommend. Also, if 120hz is...
I do not play with Vsync on most times, and I do experience microstutter in just about every game with my 7970 crossfire set up. I run most competitive games on one card at low settings for now to get as close to 120fps as possible, as it's much smoother.
July 31 can't come soon enough :) I...
