Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I would only disagree slightly in that while yes the radiator is obviously where the cooling happens nearly every component contributes to better temps. im no WC expert but better water block means its pickin up more heat...means good. if the water blink can't pick up heat effectively what good...

I would really appreciate if [H] is going to review the h60 that in their apples to apples comparison they include the h50,h60,and h70 all in push/pull : ) im quite sick of other sites reviewing h70 and talking about how h70>h50 yet they are testing h50 with one fan and h70 in...
i agree with everyone, only thing you need to post are cpu, mobo, psu, and ram. if ur getting checksum errors, replace battery first, next reseat ram, after that remove all ram and go through one stick at a time remembering to try all of your slots so you know it is not a slot on your mobo. if...
the only reason i don't see this working is because its very hard to backup programs. when you install your videogames there is a lot more to it that just your save file. the game installs into the windows operating system so unless the game is capable of doing such things (i.e. downloading a...
for what its worth a had a great experience with gigabyte. i did end up having to talk with their tech supervisor but me being a 7 year vet in the pc tech department myself we got along quite well over the phone and he 2nd day aired my mobo back to me, no refurbs or anything which was nice too...
i actually think realtemp is set to read TJMax from the cpu itself...maybe someone else can confirm??
nevertheless for i7 860's TJMax is 99 so ur good ;)
im not sayin 400 isnt possible with 4 sticks but if ur runnin at 400 with 4 sticks on that board ur pushin the board. cheers to any that can OC that 333 setting up to 400 ;)
def sounds like pci-e slot. either try hooking up a new psu or use low end gfx card as spare flair suggested. if you dont have another psu you may be able to get away with unplugging all accessories including hdd and odd...all you really need to boot is ur 24pin 8pin and power to ur gfx
i would agree that most likely the bios update increased your vcore or some similar voltage (even though it has always been set on auto). you can lower your temps by setting your voltages manually and stress testing. keep lowering them until its no longer stable and then bump up a few notches...
all that i was saying was that with qfan on, if none of your hsf's spin up to 6200 under load, i would guess its probably not your fans. however, when he stated that he plugged the hsf into a different header and it still wouldn't spin up to 6200, made me think it was the fan...could be compound...
well i would say its hard to say based on what you've told us.
when you say you tried a different HSF with only a 3pin, did it not spin at its full speed? if so i would say it very unlikely that two of your fans would be defective (albeit possible).
on a contrasting note, the above statement...
i got into some heated debates with them about this and they never gave me a clear answer. working for a pc services company and dealing with warranty work for almost 7 years now, my guess is that their warranties are backed by a third party company such as AIG. most likely it will depend on any...
i owned the a8n-sli premium and munkle is correct, when using all four slots one HUGE disadvantage is it cannot run them at 400, only 333. sry bub, just the luck of the draw :/
