VPU errors, but its a bit different....

case's side is off, and all fans are active. was just playing cnc generals and it was still artifacting, so its not a game-specific problem either. turned agp to 4x in bios and turned off fastwrite. still having the problem.

VPU errors, but its a bit different....

I really haven't had any problems with this card until maybe 2 weeks ago. I was playing WoW (bet you are tired of hearing about that game) and all of the sudden the meshes/textures started tearing and messing up (artifacting i guess?). I would get 3 vpu recovery warnings from the ATI control...

    Networking program-Chubb Institute

I understand why you suggest going to a 4-year college, but I want to go to a tech school to cut the bullshit I'm not going to truly need. I want to go for 2 reasons: To get a job I want, that does not necessarily pay more, and personal knowledge. I've taught myself 99% of what I know on the...

    Networking program-Chubb Institute

I'm going to be graduating highschool soon, and am not looking forward to going to a 4-year college. I think i murdered by cpu!

I have no idea how my cpu is still running, well has been for about a year next month. I was building my 2nd comp, and I was so excited to get it done, I put the heatsink on backwards. How? I don't know. After a week of random rebooting, I ordered some arctic silver5 and waited. That day i took...

    Last upgrades for a while.

alright, sounds good. I'll end up going with the socket 939 then. That brings me to my next question. Is nforce3 really necessary? This mobo looks great, but lacks nforce 3. I guess I'm not fully clear on what that is exactly. Asus A8V Deluxe
