    Basically, and yes. As far as I know both of the 8800 cards have the same cooler. The GTX would be on average louder because on average the card would run hotter, thereby making the fan rev up more.

    It'd be worth the expense if more than maybe.. 3 mainstream titles actually used the darn thing. But, as others have said, it wont do anything. The only real title thats mainstream that is seemingly going to use it is UT3, and we dont know to what extent.
