I e-mailed the author and he confirmed that they used the latest BIOS revisions for the "SATA issues" and the RAID0 read performance was unchanged...
So when you're getting juice from the powerco, is the max VA and wattage not relevant? Can you draw more power than the rated power through the AVR and surge protection circuitry when not on battery? Sorry for the noob questions.... ;)
