• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

  • Hey there everyone. I'm in a bit of a quagmire with my Netapp 2020 filer. The netapp is not under any service contract. Anyhow, I had 10 SAS 15k drives in the system, setup with dual parity and a spare drive. One of the drives failed, so I decided to buy a new drive online that matched the same specs as the old one, it is a Seagate Cheetah 15K.5, model # ST3300655SS, serial # 3LM4V15Q. When i put the drive into the netapp, I get the following error while telneting in, "" disk 0c.00.3 has an unexpected sector size (512 bytes) and cannot be used". Is there a way to first find out the sector sizes on the existing netapp drives? Can the sector size be changed on my new drive?
    Thanks.
