    Uggg. Well I ended up contacting the seller and he is replacing it with http://www.scsi4me.com/adaptec-asr-5445-8-port-4-internal-4-external-pcie-sas-raid-controller-1x-sff-8088-and-1x-sff-8087-connectors.html which has RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 5, 5EE, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
