Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i don't no squat about CPUs and so forth but what i always imagined would be the next step is a (yet to exist) hardware component splitting the computing load between multiple cores, without software assistance.
in defence of facebook, i think it was a great idea back when it was confined to Harvard or even just Uni's. networking with people you have no reason to network with is what makes FB stupid.
3/4 of quake population is still on F2P accounts, and they seem to be doing well. unless ofc you mind terribly 30sec of ads when you first join a server.
and its not P2W - free and prem have the same gameplay.
(yeah, i play quake)
@ ballistic (since i don't actually know patents, but i do know copyright)
when developing a technology, are you allowed to know whether there's a patent covering it yet, or do you have to get sued to find out?
besides the rofl'ing .. what would be the ethical difference between granting a patent for "device which helps users with multimedia operations" and allowing a company to claim a one-letter prefix as their own?
the first covers both a kinect and a remote, the second covers both iPhone and i5...
But can it play Minecraft?
lol but srsly, LN means nothing. phase change, liquid cooling, anything which normal people might actually have and doesn't require you to tamper with it every few minutes.
well i agree with him. it does suck that the system is like this, though. patents shouldn't be issued for vague definitons, like "item which does something in some way, somehow + apple logo"
(or "stuff that begins with *i*." i'm not making it up, you know)
