Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I know I could always order a custom PSU from PC Power and Cooling but that's a bit more than I care to spend. I could always break out the soldering iron but I'm not that proficient or comfortable with doing that. What choices am I left with?

I've read that the will be physically cutting the extra 4 pipelines in the new 6800GS AGP to prevent people from unlocking all 16 pipelines. If this is the case I'll probably just buy a used 6800GT.
I can get a pretty good deal on them from a friend who works there but I was wondering if they're any good.
Also, does anyone know where I can find some detailed specifications on them like APC has for their units? I was looking at the Model GS-975U in particular.
