USB-monitors have low enough performance that I wouldn't consider them worthwhile on a system with actual graphics hardware. Fine for a secondary monitor, but I wouldn't one as a main monitor. Hotel TVs are an option, though a bit location specific. The entire system would be useless outside of...

Any thoughts about monitor and keyboard mouse pairings for portable workstations like this? It's all well and good if the computer itself can fit in a carry-on, but without a monitor it's a bit useless and flying with a 27" desktop monitor seems to defeat the purpose.
