    The reason i dont think Core Temp is right is that on higher over clocks with more voltage SpeedFan has reported 70c at full load with orthos. If Core Temp is correct that means my processor would have been running at 85c. I thought c2d's shut down to protect them selfs way before that temp.

    I just built my first new computer in 5 years. I decided on the 8600 from evga and use there step up program here in the coming months to buy a better one when prices go down.
