Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Not to hijack (or aid in your hijack) but that can usually be fixed by changing the permissions of the specific program's registry keys using Regedt32. I have that problem with Pagemaker, and have to change the permissions on the Pagemaker registry key to allow regular users to make changes...
I'd say the hard drive is likely good since it took the install in another workstation. Either, as RHollister suggested, check the CD-ROM, or (not to beat a dead horse, but) test the memory.
Are you looking for separate profiles, such as when you open Outlook, it ask which account you want to open? OR, are you wanting both accounts in the same profile, but mail from each go to two separate folders?
Spare parts you say? I'd test the memory. I just posted this on another thread, but it really it a handly tool. Microsoft Memory Diagnostic: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
Could be corruption in the registry. Try restoring the registry to a previous point, provided that he didn't disable System Restore, using the instructions at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307545
Since you have the drive in another PC, you won't even have to deal...
Could be a memory problem, as I've seen similar errors caused by a bad stick.
Try the Microsoft memory test, just to eliminate that as a possibility.
