    if your dorm as carpet.. take your socks off to disperse static.. static = death to pc parts make sure you friend does the same ...lol do a barebone ( cpu/videocard/1stick of ram) lay the motherboard on a cardboard box and start it up there's more.. but i'm sure your friend knows...

    i'm using the moniter right now with no problem my powersupply is enough since i don't have power hungry parts only suspect is the mobo or the cpu i did notice it was around 48C in the bios screen before i started the format
