Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
One of the nice things about being an "older" gamer is the ability to make decisions without remorse. Yes, I know I have bills to pay, and a mortgage, and a family .... but it was totally my choice to spend $60 on Fallout 4. Normally I don't do such things. Normally, I don't spend full cost...
Price.
Not in a position to drop $60 for a game. Bought a new house, responsibilities and all that. Looking for something to sort of relax my brain after the stress of day-to-day.
That being said ... its really, really, REALLY tempting to try to find a way to justify the cost.
Yeah, i put like 500 or more hours into Skyrim. Loved it. I never played the DLCs though ... maybe I'll reinstall and get the expansions. The Witcher is on my watch list. I keep hoping for a sub-$20 sale.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into those. Keep 'em coming if you have more.
I need a new game. I'm thinking its about time for an immersive RPG. Something budget friendly (which probably rules out Witcher 3). Maybe something that allows for creativity?
Yeah, it came out among many other RPGs at the time, and it was accused of "cashing-in" on the genre's popularity. It was called a generic RPG with the Mario label slapped on. I almost didn't get it when I did because everyone was basically saying, just go get a "real" RPG instead.
I really, really, really wanted to like ESO. But, it just never had the magic that the previous Elder Scrolls games had. I can't put my finger on any one thing, but Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind ... I played those things for hours. Never got into ESO in that way.

I still love Diablo 3. Played since beta. Still love it. I know it gets a bad rep at times, but I like it.
No One Lives Forever. The game's older, and got very little love, but was hilarious. Still have fond memories even though no-one's ever heard of it.
Mario RPG. Again, an older title...
I did three things tonight:
#1) Increased the virtual pagefile
#2) Deleted and reinstalled soundcard drivers
#3) Deleted and reinstalled MSI Afterburner to ensure my down-clock of the GPU
One of those seemed to work. Haven't had the error.
PS: If you google "TDR error" you'll find a ton of...
:(
Please help! I've tried everything. This is an ongoing, randomly recurring error I've been fighting for years.
Now on my second copy of Windows.
I'm on my second graphics card. Switched from nVidia to AMD.
My second motherboard, switched from DFI to MSI.
My second power supply...
