Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Essentially I have a volumeset that is using the same drives as the last one, and the same settings, was not formatted at all, but in windows it does not see it as an NTFS drive. It just sees it as a clean brand new volume. I'm lost. system restore did nothing.
I contacted areca who recommended to recreate with the init only option and the exact same settings, which I did, and it created the volume set, but windows did not see it.
Here's where I think the problem is... windows was doing a diskcheck on that volume and had it unmounted when this...
Any way to recover a missing volume set? Does re-creating it erase the data and potentially screw it all up?
I've tried signat, rescue, and LeVeL2ReScUe

Case sanded, modded, filled, painted with Krylon fusion for plastic textured shimmer, then with black paint to kill the shimmer.
then i hit it all with alsa soft touch clear which i properly mixed this time and it worked great. Its got a great finish to it that photos really fail to capture...
Did a bit more work this weekend but forgot to take pics again. The 4 power wires for the fans were wired into one wire with a 3 pin. I used the 12v lead on the bottom of the motherboard for the fans and hooked that wire up to another 3 pin which hooks into the rear 2 fans and the wires going...
i thought about that and just finding the power somewhere else on the board but i actually found the leads with a really high power magnifier =] soldering now
the problem wasnt a power issue anyways it was the data and AFAIK you cant run a usb hub off the rear xbox 360 ports?
It was nicknamed the little blue toaster for a reason. =]
For those of you that don't know, this computer was very significant in the beginnings of the 3D animation industry. In its prime the O2 was the powerhouse rendering system for computer graphics and for the $7k base price tag, it...
I've got two of them actually so i figured hey why not lol.
Good idea with the lights. Normally not a fan of lights and windows and stuff in a computer case, but Mashie's O2 did turn out fairly slick as it wasn't over done with the lights. My one concern with lights is the vent slits I cut...
Ok I think this project is along far enough now to not be vaporware so I thought i'd give the overall idea and post some images [will post more later].
I just upgraded to a pro account at photobucket so images shouldn't be an issue where they are hosted as stated in the FAQ.
So to...
Yay.. ok so when i inquired to HP and microsoft when this announced product first hit the web they were both wrong. Kewl. Its not uncommon for manufacturers to make a product and ship it before they inform their sales people of all of the ins and outs so I guess i'm not shocked there.
So...
Home server does not allow any online capacity expansion. to add storage you need to wipe the whole array. Or at least that's what i was told when i looked into it.
Would be interrested to see what positives you give it over a DIY approach.
Go over to some other forum? wow. lol

Jesus, drop the ego for a second. All i was asking if is theres a way to tell if that "L4.1" flag was in the encode AFTER its been encoded, and you simply will not answer the simple question. Instead you call me a thief in the most...
Wasn't complaining, just wondering why. No need to be so defensive.
First, not all downloaded "encodes" are necessarily piracy.
What about all those quicktime trailers, and movies off of gametrailers, ign, gamespot, etc? So there's no way to find out if any of them will play with...
Read your sticky.. Zoomplayer for personal use is far better than MPC in my humblest opinion, but they seem to operate similarly with codec assignment, etc. We're on the same page, or at least we're reading the same article when it comes to that...
But for media center usage.. why on earth...
