very strange
I messed with it for a while, turning sli on/off
now I'm getting 160fps looking up at the sky, before was 60, so I guess it's working now
these thing ssure run hot 76c, and 88c on the cores
I'm having strange results with my xfx 7950 gx2 1gb card
I'm getting 60-70 fps in warcraft, when I enable the SLI display bar, it shows nothing
when I switch to single gpu mode the 2nd gpu temp does drop to zero, so I'm assuming it is working in sli mode, but my fps jumps up by an average...
we play warcraft, heavy heavy cpu usage, and both run 1920x1200 on 24" widescreen lcd's
it really kills the fps, but with a OC'ed e6600 and 7950x2 I can run all sliders at max
all she cares about is fps, sliders can stay low
how bout ram & power supply, there cheaper options I can go with?
She plays warcraft, it's very very cpu intensive, more than the gpu by far, I went from a overclocked amd4600+ to a core2 duo e6600 overclocked, and FPS with the same video card went from 15fps in raids, to 65fps, outdoors went...
Anyone built a budget E4300 setup lately? I'm talking like the good old celron 300 days
my wife needs a new board, cpu, memory, and power supply, she already has a nvidia 7800gtx
I tossed together a list of what's known to overclock, are there cheaper/better solutions out there? Still...
ambient temp seems to be my problem
water was 28.8 this morning, with only my PC on the high temp is 48c
soon as the wife and kids get home, and fire up all the other computers, high temp will raise 10 degrees
