Dead pixel and tinting are understandble reasons, but if you don't bother checking the manual or simply browsing through all the OSD menus to realize you still have "auto brightness" or "eco mode" or both on... :rolleyes:
Reported tinting problems here vs. that review, I guess they simply got a near perfect unit.
At least the overdrive is now confirmed. Test images show pretty obvious difference to the NEC.
Where does it say it with brackets, on the actual panel? If all panels really have that format, then I guess it's simply not mentioned in all other models expect for these few in TFTCentral's database. If you put "sla" to TFTCentral's panel search, it finds couple of other models, two common 24"...
Related: Is there now a consensus that this one has overdrive (unlike NEC EA231WMi or the ViewSonic equivalent of the same panel)? They thought so in Flatpanelshd review and obviously the response time spec is somewhat a hint since it has been given in G2G format, while NEC and ViewSonic listed...

I have not done this, but I think you need program like PowerStrip or something similar that can change those timings.
