Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
OMFG, it has been doing that forever and I have had no idea why. This recent discover has led me to another question...
After hearing about what Skull_Angel said, I set everything back to default, it worked the way it should, so I started to tinker again. I set my CPU to my desired OC (the one...
Well its an EVGA 780i, and the think that makes me think that this might be a different problem is the fact that it tells me that I have all of my settings the way I want them, it just doesnt do it.
I just tried that, my bios does not listen to me when it comes to frequencies and timings; I set my memory timings to 5 5 5 15 and voltage to 2.2V, and I set my CPU to FSB 400 x8 mult and 1.41875V
When save and exit, I got back to the bios after the comp reboots to find that the voltages stay...
I disabled that a while ago.
I noticed that when I went back into the bios, it said that my current SETTING was fsb: 1600 with an 8x mult (which is what I want) but the current VALUE was still fsb: 1066 with an 8x mult
When I check CPUZ while I have prime95 running, it still says the same thing. (as do all of the other ways of checking speeds (however they still do not match)) It has the multiplier at 8, but the bus speed is 266.6 instead of 400. So the bus speed is changing rather than the multiplier, so I...
I have a q6600 that has been overclocked to 3.0 for most of its life. However, I checked out my computer properties 2 days ago to find that it was back at 2.4. So I thought to myself, No biggy, Ill just re-overclock it. This time I went for 3.2
In the bios, it says that it is at 3.2 from an...
I tried to install windows on a separate partition in order to copy the ntfs.sys file to the first one. After I did so, I tried to boot up in my first partion, but it still gave me the same error. I do no get how this works. I copied the working ntfs.sys from the working windows, but it still...
I restarted my computer yesterday and when I tried to turn it back on, I got this:
Windows could not start because the fallowing file is missing or corrupt:
System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the origional setup CD-ROM. Select 'r'...
So I would plug the second into the on purely for physx? I thought if you have a physx card, you cant plug a monitor in to it. And how would I go about dedicating it to physx?
