Intriguing problem which hopefully is indeed simple as not bumping the core voltage to 3D mode. I might get this card and see if its actually the case. :D

Hi guys, I was reading through this thread about the x195xt, and was wondering what may cause it. The only logical thing i can think is either a total driver mis-match with vista, or a off by 1 error. The off by 1 error sounds logical, let me try to explain, and maybe someone can verify...

forever? got this core since 2003/4 i think watercooled xp2600 @ 2400mhz 1.85V

formatted, installed xp version with sp2 nativly. No difference. Drivers, no difference. Benchmarks all are flying aces though. any chance its a lemon? :o

No , the mouse doesnt' stutter, though moving a dialog seems like theres 200msec delay between it actually being moved. and then when i was copying something from the USB external disk to he internal disc, I can see the external usb led go to idle while dragging dialogs though... Oh why does...

According to a very popular news / review site (dutch) www.tweakers.net the ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 board is top notch price / performance. it not suited for oc'ing though. Other then that benchmarks are stock even higher on the asrock then on the asus p5b !

Ive installed the newest drivers by Asrock as stated on the website, no difference as it. (there actually intel drivers). maybe the board is faulty?

Thanks, I know im an Idiot. I only wanted to clear out that with the power of the compressor and the heat fromn the processor the delta between the evaporator and the cpu isnt't really going to affect cpu temperatures in terms of Artic silver , generic or cera. a snug fit with -30C...
