    The HDMI converter box basically bypasses the HDCP protection on the Ps3's HDMI port. There are other options such as an HD Fury, but this option works beautifully and is probably the cheapest option as well. It will merge the Ps3's audio and video and record over the full 1080p HDMI connection.
