    no thats not the problem. i know what your talking about. i just click unblock when starting a game like cs and it works. I manually unblocked bf1942 and all the other games that dont work. and theres still the problem

    Like the title says any game with a splash screen locks up before the game even starts (exception is BF2) it works). The screen will come up for about a minute and then it locks up. The mouse cursor doesnt move either. I thought it could be RAM timing but my bios doesnt seem to have a feature...

    My 6600gt Stutters in cs:s , no ther game. Im using the newist release nvidia driver. and after looking around it starting to sound lik im gunna have to live with the stuttering. But if anybody has found the fix for this let me no thnx

    I reinstalled windows, flashed my bios and still didnt work. i droped it in a computer that was currently using 6800 ultra and it locked up around the same place, so i sent it back. I pray 2 jesus the new one works

    I have the 6600gt not the 6800, and the link doesnt have the bios for the 6600 my bios doesn not let me change fastwrites, i used a program to completely remove nvidia drivers, thin installed the current 66.93 driver on my computer same problem. ....?

    i removed the "nvida drivers" in the add or remove programs, part of control pannel restarted my computer and it "found new hardware" then i installed the driver, im startin to think that the card is bad...? ive tried forceware beta drivers
