    XFX P1-650X-CAH9 650W (clicking??)

I just bought the gray fan version on ebay, was a sealed box too. Fired it up and it clicks - loud (I'm in a quiet studio apartment). Definitely has a continuous tick-tick-tick sound regardless of the load on the supply. I pointed the fan up then rotated the housing to point the fan towards the...

460 GTX SLI running slow on Crisis

I have AA turned off. Tried HIGH setting with motion blur OFF, then tried windowed mode @ 1600x1080 & still getting less than 25fps during fight scenes Even with 768MB version, I ought to be getting at least 45fps I would think. Fight scenes quickly become choppy and fps soon drops below...

460 GTX SLI running slow on Crisis

I have 460 SLI and crysis fps are low - 30fps or less @ 1920x1080 with Very High settings, not much better at high and even medium settings. Other games play maxed out and forum posts show 460GTX SLI as having 60fps or better at 1920x1200 ???

Is This Cooler A Good Choice

I'll be upgrading to a Phenom II x 4 955 and will need a better cooler. Is this one a good choice for a modestly OCed 955 ? http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1134&ID=1832

Need a good motherboard for my Phenom II 955

IMO, best mobo is what I use (why does that often seem to be the case?) and it's good for SLI too MSI NF980-G65 It supports Tri-SLI if you want to do such, you can do 2-way SLI using graphics card slots 1 & 3 and still have x16 / x16 lanes with lots of real estate around each card to keep...

At what point am I bottlenecked?

    Best Value for $150?

I'm wondering HD6850 vs 460GTX when it comes to adding in Anti-Alias. I could run games with AAx2 & x4 with GTX260-216 but same games with no AA using HD4870/4890. 460GTX is awesome performer even after adding AA. How is the 6850 ?

    Upgrade from GTX 260

I've gamed with GTX260-216 cards. Nice card, was able to do the following: Mass Effect 2, smooth game play using no AA @ 1920 x 1200 resolution Never was able to play Crysis 1920 x 1080 no AA Very High, had to use High, and also turn down particles, textures, etc to get smooth gameplay...

    SLI in x16/x8 slots

there's a really good write up at [H]ard|OPC regarding x16/x16 vs x16/x8 performance. I was surpised at the results ... http://hardocp.com/article/2010/08/16/sli_cfx_pcie_bandwidth_perf_x16x16_vs_x16x8
