    3.2TB SSD for $240

In my case, I'm not sure it's power as much as the board itself. It can run a stronger pcie-12v-less videocard in the x16 slot without a problem, but that slot doesn't work consistently with the 6.4TB card. Runs fine in the furthest "x4" slot. This system has two new 920W 1U power supplies. I...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Tested this, with the 6.4TB in the known working pcie slot. Both cards do load fine. Installed Fusion_ioMemory_VSL_3.2.15.1699_x64.exe, then installed Fusion_ioMemory_VSL_4.3.7.1205_x64_storport.exe. Both appeared immediately after each installer completed.

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Wow, so it IS possible? I thought it should be, but others said otherwise. When I tried adding the 6.4TB to my system, its software wouldn't install. I removed the 3.2TB and its software, which worked. Trying to add the 3.2TB back in later didn't work. I'll need to give it another shot it seems!

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Even without the driver loaded, your device manager should look like the below with the 3.2TB ioScale being a generic mass storage device: The drivers turn this into a storage drive that you can partition. If you don't have the generic Mass Storage Controller driver warning, either the...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Very likely it isn't showing up in the device manager or anything - just not appearing in Windows. This is what I was seeing on my 6.4TB unit in 2 of my 3 slots. There's some system compatibility issues with these for sure, and it's possible he just got a dud (needs to test in a second system)...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Yep, I have one of those here and it worked flawlessly in this same machine. Windows 10 in the same GIgabyte Z390 Auros Pro. I'm actually surprised by my compatibility issue in the same system with the 6.4TB ioMemory card. ZERO issues here with the 3.2TB ioScale. I haven't seen my ioMemory...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

Still try a different slot, since only one of mine are consistently working with the ioMemory. I had no problems in any of my board's slots with the ioScale though. And make sure you haven't tried to run two different driver installers - these devices don't like conflicting drivers, notably a...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

If you get to the point where fio-status is seeing the drive, it is also available for use in Windows. The rest of the steps are just to get everything up to date. Remove the drivers, reboot, install Fusion_ioMemory_VSL_3.2.15.1699_x64.exe, reboot. If it still isn't visible, try a different...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

You bought the 3.2TB version, correct? The drivers are different for the ioScale vs ioMemory, and you must remove the driver for the other model if you swap, or installed the wrong one. See my troubleshooting above. You could also try every pcie port in your system.

    3.2TB SSD for $240

I'm also having issues getting the 6.4TB one to work on Windows 10. I removed the drivers for the ioScale, rebooted, installed Fusion_ioMemory_VSL_4.3.7.1205_x64_storport.exe, rebooted, nothing there. If I hard poweroff the system, I get an ioMemory consistency check on bootup, so the system...

    3.2TB SSD for $240

They're still accepting $400 offers on the 6.4TB in this newer listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/SanDisk-6400GB-ioMemory-SX300-6400GB-PCIE-SSD-SDFACCMOS-6T40-SF1/124092464848 Got mine accepted this morning. After briefly using the 3.2TB, I think the 6.4 is a better size for my needs. Great...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition Review @ [H]

Why do so many people post this? No, the 1080 is a replacement for a 980Ti, in performance and price. The 780 replaced the 680. The 780Ti replaced the 780. The 980 replaced the 780Ti. And on, and on. Each release we saw the cards getting roughly 25% faster. The 1080 has roughly the same average...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Not sure what you mean. Curve makes the experience more immersive, but because the corners and sides of the screen are closer to you, they also start to enter vision of only one eye sooner than a flat screen, when sitting at similar, nearer-distances. This will depend on the person though - how...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Of course - any processing of signals will need time to complete (lag). Motion interpolation is one of the heaviest processing jobs it can do, and adds a good amount of delay before displaying the final image. The tv must look a frame ahead before it can generate a new frame and insert it, so...

    New Samsung 4k for everyone.

Yeah, not sure. I believe Auto Motion Plus (AMP) has to do with using the LED backlight to improve the quality of the higher refresh rate. I know AMP is an option, but not sure if it's what controls CMR. It may enable CMR also? Edit: Found this discussion...
