    I see the red light coming out from the TOSLINK connector. The headphone jack in the livedrive bay is working. But the coax spdif of the livedrive is also not working like the optical spdif. Anyway i'll try what you are saying....

    Anyone here use the optical spdif out of X-Fi Fatal1ty? My digital receiver seems that he doesn't seen nothing in the optical cable. I tryed to connect to other sound card with the same optical cable and it worked but with the X-Fi Fatal1ty there's no sound. Any sugestions?

    If you don't use the 5.1 (or 6.1, 7.1) discrete channels and only use the spdif connection just use a optical cable instead of a coaxial one.
