    uninstall intel rapid storage drivers, and let Win7 automatically install its drivers. Fixed it for me.

    Fixed it. For those googling later: I disabled HD audio in the BIOS, and i did a driver sweep of creative drivers with phyxion's software. Worked fine after that.

    This method has definitely worked for me. Played more shogun 2 today, and never once got a freeze. I say give it a try and forget about intel's buggy drivers.

    Wow i've been freezing a lot lately after installing the new RST drivers from april 20. I just tried disabling LPM and i will test it with some games. I think this is a HDD problem, not a ram problem.
