    I don't know of any 1070s or 1080s that require 80-100% fan speed for overclocking. Even with the worst case scenario on the FE there's little need to go over 70%.

    I'm using slower Noctua F12s in the same setup, and my temperatures max out at 60C in exhaust config. I find it significantly quieter (especially at idle) than when I was using the EVGA Hybrid kit. You can get IR thermometer guns pretty cheaply to measure component temperatures.

    You can use thermal tape instead of adhesive if you want the process to be easily reversible. I used 3M 8815 for my heatsinks on the 980 Ti and 1080.     Browser tabs eat RAM. They don't utilize multiple cores effectively at all. Same with my SF600. Even at 50-60W load, the fan still spins.

    My SF600's fan doesn't seem to stop at idle, and is also making a constant high pitched oscillating sound (also at idle, disappears under load). Ambient temperature is 25C, PSU internals are ~35C. Any ideas, or just get it replaced?
