The batteries I'm using right now can be charge and use again and my setting weren't wrong? or these setting don't have any effect on my batteries. So I shouldn't use the LCD but viewfinder instead and also minimum the use of flash becuz it uses alot of engergy? Thanks for the answers guys...

I bought a used Dimage 5 for some newbie photo shoot...It uses 4 AA batteries...and I'm sure this camera uses energy quick. With 4 batteries fully charged, by the 5th shot..the camera shut iself down and the low battery sign displayed. The setting tried were ISO 800 and 400, +2 color. auto...
