I am aware of this. It's giving me very inconsistent results sometimes I fail and sometimes I pass at the same settings. I ran a max stress test at 4.8 no problem. then after playing around trying to go higher, went back to the previously working 4.8 and it failed.
Ill check it out when I get home. Even when I did reach 4.9 stable once the speeds of which I was completing the tests seemed to drop in the intelburntests by about 10 gflops so I ended up going back to stock until I had time to mess with it again. My ram is rated at 3000 and had no problems...
so today I recieved my 7700k, aorus z270x gaming 5, and h100i v2 and got my build done.
now I am trying to oc it with the obvious 5ghz goal. i first tried the gigabyte cpu upgrade presets to see what would happen, the setting for 7700k 5ghz was not a success. went down to the next preset of...
I love my 8320(running 990fx chipset) for it's age it is very fast especially after watercooling it and oc'ing. I am more concerned with it not holding up to the single threaded performance, being on older ddr3, pcie 2.0, and creating a bottleneck for the 1070.
I had preordered the 1700x...
I ended up cancelling my preorder before it went through today to wait on a bit more information. I live stream on twitch and use a dual pc setup so my encoding/rendering is currently done using an 8 core amd and a gtx 1050 without any issues. My current gaming pc is a 8320 @ 4.5ghz, 24gb of...
Well after a simple click, I hadn't realized XMP was turned off, bumped it up to 1600 right away, now that I have solved that can anyone link me to some good resources for learning how to overclock ram, everything I have read has stated that team dark is a great overclocking module and I would...
Hey guys, Last time I posted I was having issues with my previous gpu which has been solved with some recent upgrades this week. I ditched the r9 280x and upgraded to the GTX 1070 and loving it, as well as adding a h105 closed loop to my cpu. I also ordered 16gb more ram which will be here...
I have the most recent drivers currently. It does it in DayZ, GTA V, Arma 3, and Just Cause 3 mostly. The other games I have I don't recall it happening but they are older games as well mostly.
Would anyone recommend the 380x? I can pick one up on newegg for $189 right now. It is only a 256bit card compared to mine being 384bit. I'm sure it's more of a sidegrade I just want these glitches to go away, then for another 80ish I could get the rx 480. decisions...
From what I have read it's common but no one really ever had a fix for it. Any idea if the r9 300 or 400 series cards have that problem still? If so I will just switch to nvidia
I checked my warranty and stuff and it's still good. I am going to wait for some more opinions so I can properly describe the problem when I rma the card. How long does an rma usually take?
