I suppose it's also a Chicken or the Egg problem. Should computer cases that require shorter GPU come first or should the shorter GPUs come first. Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX isn't mainstream enough to create the demand.

This will most likely be a not for profit endeavor. I just want a small GPU for my M1 ;)

When I spoke with NVIDIA sales, I was told ASUS might be able to design a new board and get it to work, but I'm not an engineer, so I don't understand the technical challenge.
