Try to use the same profile on Photoshop on both monitors. Maybe using Adobe Gamma can be helpful, or, Powerstrip too (specialy dealing w/2 monitors and more, you can adjust it to load a specific color scheme to each application you run, for an example you can set a color scheme to use with PS...
Well, I purchased the Acer.
I really wanted to buy a Viewsonic VP930b, but I coudn't. I just hope that Acer arrives fine, working, with no dead pixels and that it lasts a couple of years, at least.
If anybody wants, I can make a (mini) review of it when it comes to me (it will take while...
After some weeks researching, it's time to purchase, and I got 2 finalists:
Acer AL1923R - $276
NU L921G - $236 (plus a DVI cable, 'cuz it's not included :( )
I can't decide!!! NU's is cheaper but they're a no name brand, I never heard about them, they don't include a CD with drivers...
Doing more research I found that this display used a 25ms display and now it uses a 8ms, probably the same panel but "updated" (I went to AUO's website to check).
If you guys don't tell me anything bad about it, I'll buy it later at night when I get home. Just hope Nutech isn't a bad brand...
I'm still researching to find my monitor (aand waiting until tomorrow to see if any online store has a BF deal), and I was reading a review at Anandtech which said that Nutech's L921G was a P-MVA display (and the review says great things about it), and better, it costs US$ 212,99 (w/o shipping)...
(I didn't buy my display yet, I'll wait for Thanksgiving :) and I'm still trying to choose the best display for my needs and, for my budget)
Yesterday I went to a store and they had a 19" widescreen display close to a regular 19" aaand, I found the 19" wide too small compared w/the 5:4...
I'm thinking about buying this display but before I wanna know if it comes with a DVI cable... I didn't find anything about it at Acer's website or at online stores...
This is interesting, specialy 'cause Ritz has a store near the place where my fellow at US lives, maybe this can be useful in case of returning the monitor for an example. The only problem is that I would buy more stuff (photographic paper and other stuff) and if I buy this monitor, I won't have...
I saw this at eBay but it's refurbished...
DO you know any other sites which have it?
I found at Amazon for $276, and at Superwharehouse but it was out of stock...
BadDog the AL1923R seems fine to me! The only problem is that it's hard to find it at online stores... only found at 2 stores, at one it was out of stock, on the other, it was pricey... well I'll do more research. But thanks for the good tip!
freakycody I will buy the LCD online, to be...
