Question about using 4 sticks of RAM

Thanks for the reply. Mainly, I'd like to run mutliple VMs concurrently, as well as some other photo and video editing applications occasionally. I have 12G now, and it's enough, but I bump up against it now and then, so a fair amount of it is just that RAMs cheap and I don't want to worry...

Question about using 4 sticks of RAM

Hi, In the past, I know it was advisable to keep the number of ram sticks as low as possible. Having more could adversely affect both the performance of the system as well as its stability. Also, many m/bs of the past would struggle if you filled all the available slots, mainly for power...

I'm just curious, what should Nvidia be concerned with, if not profit? It's a company, and like any other, it seeks to make money. In fact, they (leaders of said company) have a responsibility to do everything in their power to make as much money as possible, since Nvidia is publicly traded...

    multi monitor with crossfire?

Does anybody have any experience with more than 2 monitors though? My understanding was that xfire currently only supports 2. I'd love to be wrong. :)

    4870x2 crossfire multi-monitor question

Hi all, I've been trying to nail down exactly what the story is on crossfire, the 4870x2, and multiple monitors. I currently have two monitors: dell 3007 (30") + dell 2007 (20"). I'd like to be able to run these both off the one card, and I'd like to be able to run *multiple*, windowed...
