I did not see any obvious flickering on the full-screen tests. However I am not too sure on what to look for.
Edit:
There is flickering when scrolling down on the browser. But not when those images are static.
So I just bought a Benq VZ2470H and I must say I am very pleased with it. I tried a few IPS monitors including the Veiwsonic VP2468 but they all had an annoying sheen/glow. None of them were as good as the VZ2470H. I tried the Iiyama x2783hsu as a VA alternative but it isn't a good as the...
Out of all the Benq VA monitors, which one is the best one and is also Vesa compatible?
Edit:
I have just realised that I have been using a VA panel for over 10 years! VP191s. I always thought it was a TN. No wonder it was much better than everything else in 2005.
I recently tried an IPS...
I was about to order a U2414H but then came across the Viewsonic VP2468. I have owned a monitor from the VP series before and really liked it. But there are hardly any reviews of for the VP2468.
Any thoughts on whether it will be better than the Dell?
I recently bought some Creative Gigaworks T20 because of the good reviews. I didn't like them because voices sounded unnatural and too bassy. Infact I don't even like how the music sounded. I got the T10s after that and they were more realistic. No doubt that these speakers add a richness to the...
I am looking for something that retains its colour even in dim brightness. I have sensitive eyes and turn down the brightness to the lowest.
Are there any monitors with adjustable back lighting?
If not, what type of panel retains the colours best in dim brightness?
For those interested, I asked Iiyama via email about the differences between the XB2483HSU-B1 and XB2483HSU-B2. They responded:
The B1 is labeled as AMVA+ while B2 is just AMVA. I wonder if the B1 has a superior panel. Also the 27" model is still AMVA+.
Thanks for the answer!! Much appreciated.
I have been following this thread and I appreciate your input in it.
Is the 27 inch Iiyama the same panel as the 24 inch? I want the 24 inch but Amazon take a month to dispatch them, so I may go for the 27 inch.
Hi All!
I am new here.
Do any of you know if Viewsonic's SuperClear MVA is comparable to AMVA technology?
ViewSonic - SuperClear MVA™
I am deciding between the VG2439SMH and Iiyama XB2483HSU.
