Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The power supply on my son's PC went out the other day. I sourced a power supply locally, but forgot to get the modular cables from the guy.
Anyone happen to have a spare laying around that I can buy?
I'm looking for this (I think), but can't find anyone that sells just that SATA cable. I've...
All is well. I removed the CPU block and reapplied paste after cleaning it up.
For those say the DC-LT doesn't have enough flow, I disagree. I've been using a single DC-LT for years and haven't had any issues. At one point I had 2 7970's, a FX8350 and 2 UT60 280 rads. The pump has never had...
I went with this fan configuration because my thought was also exhaust air from the rads. Is that not a good idea?
I'm running 4 Thermalright TR-X Silent 140mm at 800RPM with 60CFM.
The pump is a Alphacool DC-LT running at 11.7 gallons/hour.
I tried playing with the side panel off and ran into the same issue. Temps go to the 70's after about 20 minutes of gaming.
Should I try flipping two of the fans to draw air in?
I'm not sure what's going on. I've run basically the same loop for a couple years. I did move from Italy to the US right before this issue occurred. I've never really done any heavy gaming, but have recently gotten into GTA V. I feel like this loop should be enough to handle the hardware, but...
Haha, the ultrabook did not, under any circumstances, like the apple pie. My wife forgot to add flour to the pie (not the crust, I guess floor is used in the gooey part), so when she tipped the pie on it's side, to show it to the webcam, the pie exited the pan and was fed to the ultrabook...
I haven't been able to find a NUC that didn't have WiFi preinstalled. Additionally, the costs don't really justify the hardware.
When talking about gigabit internet service and/or moving terabytes of data, there are differences in Intel NICs and Realtek, onboard or otherwise. If I were to...
My wife fed an apple pie to my ultrabook. I salvaged the msata SSD and mini-pcie wifi card. I'd like to put them in the smallest possible PC I can build. It's be great if it had dual Intel NICs in the event that I turn it into a pfsense box, but this isn't required.
It will be mainly used...
I owned an Ergohuman for a couple years. I regret purchasing it as it wasn't worth the hassle. I had to replace the base (the seat part three times) due to mechanical problems. Then the mesh got so stretched (I weight 180lbs.) so badly that my butt actually rested on the frame below the mesh...
Fair enough. Thanks for the help.
I looked at that AMD download for OpenCL. It was tested only through drivers 12.10, so I was nervous to mess with it as I'm on 13.x now.
I'll check this out. Thanks.
They are the same make, model and brand even. I use dual cards for gaming. There's no chance I'll be removing one of them.
